Methi with Masoor ki Dal


                     Methi with Masoor Ki Dal

        Materials:

Fenugreek leaves (methi) - 2 bunch, washed & chopped

Onion - 2 large, chopped finely

Masoor dal (red lentils) - 1/2 cup, washed and soaked for

Cumin seeds - 1 1/2 tsp

Green chillies - 4-5 chopped roughly

Oil - 4 tbsp

              Method:

In a pan, add oil. When gets heated, add cumin seeds, green chillies. Stir and add chopped onions. When onion turns little golden, add methi leaves and salt. When it release water, add masoor dal and cover and cook on slow flame for 15 mins till dal and methi becomes soft. Open the lid, if there is still water, cook for another 2 mins on high flame. Serve hot with chapati/ paratha.
